Description
The Glimmer Glass Drawbridge, in Manasquan, NJ is one of the last existing drawbridges here in the US. It was built in 1938 and is being temporarily refurbished but is in danger of being replaced by a higher modern structure much to the dismay of the locals. Town activists held a rally in the summer of 2017 which the NY Times gave us nice coverage. The future is uncertain but we would certainly like to see it preserved.
